America’s Crisis Response Fleet (CRF)

The CRF is a global fleet of large merchant cargo ships purposefully designed and built for responding to increasingly all-too-frequent natural and manmade disasters. Each CRF ship will be fully crewed, fully fueled, and fully loaded with 15-20,000 tons of US-manufactured supplies and equipment for disaster recovery and rebuilding. CRF cargo will include heavy equipment like bulldozers, power generators, water purification systems, mobile & modular hospital units, and other key enablers like emergency piers and airfields.
